Self Care with Your PC and Learn to Make Money Online

Have you ever noticed when we talk about a Successful Internet Home Business, people just talk about the Business. Is it turning a profit? It’s all about money! How are you doing is translated by most people to mean – how much profit is coming in the door. Yes, to make money online you need to turn a profit, no denying that, but not at the cost of your health, physical or emotional, and certainly not at the cost of your family.

Over the years in this fast paced world, many a man or woman worked too many hours away from home and lost their family over it. If in corporate world or home business, it doesn’t matter. Relationships with spouses and children wither without not just quality time, but real time with each other. Unfortunately that can happen at home too if you don’t pay attention. Work with a plan, both with your business and with family time. It is not worth it to make money online and lose what is most precious.

Successful business goes hand and hand with self care. So lets talk about your self-care today. So how is your home business? It is only as good, as strong and as healthy as you are.. This may seem like it is a kind of a different view but so true. It is important, no imperative that each of us who has a home business set up a firm unshakable health care plan or our business will crash as sure as winter follows summer.

So what are some things to consider? There is family, friends, nutrition, exercise, getting outdoors, fun activities and spiritual path (whatever that means to you), work time and sleep, just to name a few considerations. As a business mentor some of the questions I ask a new client or team member is: Tell me a little bit about yourself. Do you have a family, and such? Share with me about your social life, friends, activities, church or spiritual life. We talk about how important self care is, because it isn’t just important, it’s VITAL.

Just as your business, whatever kind it is, will need regular tending and responsibilities taken care of, so will your plan for person health and vitality. It is so easy to start working harder and longer hours when working for yourself, working to the point of exhaustion and burnout. That will not get you want you want, which is a successful home business that will make money online and a family that is close.

Some things to consider for your home business:

Have a personal plan just like you do a business plan. I humbly suggest you start each day (if you have a job and also work at home, or if you work at home only), by getting up earlier enough that you have quiet time for things that set your day on the right track. For example: meditation, prayer, contemplation, journaling your blessings and your feelings, yoga or some form of exercise. I don’t think I know a truly successful person that doesn’t take care of the inner self.

Nutrition becomes essential. Let go of the survival on coffee to just keep going and the sugar rush, fast foods and eating over your key board. Sit down and take breaks to enjoy your meals. Weather permitting, get outside and have your lunch break. A sound diet of real foods, well prepared and supplemented with natural vitamins and supplements will help to keep your health strong.

Take time, no not take time, MAKE TIME for family and friends or you may wake up someday with a very profitable home business and find you’ve lost your family. It happens so make sure family time is held as sacred.

I’ve also seen others make great income and lose everything that was important. Take care of yourself and your business, both are important. Balance is the key. Search for your product on Google, see how many web sites offer your same product. If there are millions it may take extra time to make a profit with your product.

The use of tracking software is absolutely essential to keep track of which ads, keywords, etc are bringing your home based business web site visitors and which are not. Focus on the most effective words and phrases, and keep testing. You can continually refine your marketing and improve your profitability with good testing and tracking.

Apple is about as smart and savvy as it gets. But they certainly didn’t depend on throwing some iPhones out on a table and waiting for the world to figure it all out.

They launched a virtual blizzard of marketing strategies, specifically designed and implemented to get their crowd worked into a “camping out for days in advance” FRENZY to get their mitts on an iPhone.

Nothing accidental about it–nothing left to chance. Super gorgeous, fun and innovative product, that most definitely and absolutely did NOT sell itself.

So consider this…do you seriously think ANY product you have will magically draw a feverish herd of buyers?

That’s just silly.

Yet somewhere along the line, the thinking that simply buying into a product was enough to make you successful has latched onto the collective minds of network marketers.

How Did This Happen?

It’s like this…

Just over 60 years ago Network Marketing was introduced to the world and things haven’t been the same since.

Folks with “employee” mentalities, and absolutely no business experience, were suddenly in business, literally overnight sometimes.

One day they were a teacher, mechanic, or secretary, the next day, an Entrepreneur.

These clueless souls were told they’d be making more money than their boss, their parents, their doctor–more money than they’d ever seen in their lives! The “follow me clones” rinse and repeat this stuff, because that’s what they were told so it has to be true. And on it goes, creating a kind of historical subculture and twisted expectation about how this all should work.

The upline tells the downline.  The downline tells their prospects. Their prospects tell their friends. Everyone is excited about how much money they’re going to make, with very little effort and absolutely NO understanding of how marketing works in the real world.

It snowballs–taking on a life of it’s own and growing bigger every day.

And the next thing you know this “snowball” becomes an avalanche of disappointment that has you running for your life, trying to keep your hopes and dreams from being buried alive.
