The January 16, 2006 edition of Newsweek featured an extensive article on the relationship of nutrients to critical health functions in, “Health for Life: Living Longer, Living Better.” Notably, the article touts the benefits of nutrients and supplementation, and notes that few people are getting enough of what they need to stay healthy. Topics covered within this article include suggested supplement dosages, scientific studies involving nutrients, intestinal flora, and what supplements nutritional experts take. So, the leads price, depending on the number purchased, is $2.50 to $3.00.
That doesn’t sound too bad…or does it?
The MLM industry average for every 100 leads you buy, you will enroll 3 distributors. You will enroll 3 DISTRIBUTORS, but they are NOT CUSTOMERS who want to consume the product because the see value in it. They will buy the product because they hope there will be a big financial reward for doing so. They are in it for the money. In the meantime for you, the COST to acquire that distributor is about $90 to $10 per distributor, not counting the cost of your time and all the aggrivation and rejection you endured with calling the other 97 people that did not join you! If you are a great telemarketer and love to be rejected, humiliated and cussed at a little bit, maybe it would be worth it to you and you should stick with it. By the way, the 3 people who didn’t have anything else going on in their life and answered the phone when you called, you know, those 3% who will say yes to anything, most likely will NOT do what you did. And you know THAT too.
